RDF (Refuse Derived Fuel) plant is an industrial facility that produces alternative fuel from waste. RDF is a fuel made from waste that has been processed in such a way that it has a high calorific value.
The RDF production process at the RDF factory consists of several stages, namely:
Selection and sorting: The waste to be processed is selected and sorted to separate organic and inorganic waste. Organic waste will usually be processed into compost or biogas, while inorganic waste will be processed into RDF.
Shredding: Inorganic waste that has been sorted is then chopped into smaller sizes.
